Meet Mark from Margin Driving School

Mark Brown is the founder of Margin Driving School and a caring, community-minded business owner.

He recently worked with Connect My Community to register as an NDIS service provider, to offer local NDIS participants in the Illawarra a new option when looking for an NDIS approved driving instructor.

With a background in disability support, Mark knows from firsthand experience just how important thoughtful and respectful relationships are, and he’s built his driving school on this belief:

“I’ve really enjoyed working with Phuong from Connect My Community on the registration process so far. Driving can be stressful, especially for people with different abilities, so I’m proud to offer a service which is considerate and community-focused.”

Mark is comfortable working in partnership with allied health professionals such as Occupational Therapists, to create driving lessons and plans which are tailored to a person’s unique needs.

“Learning to drive is about more than just getting in a car. It’s a ticket to independence and freedom. I structure my services around what each learner needs, ensuring they have all the skills they need to last a lifetime. I love coaching people and watching my learners gain confidence and new skills,” says Mark.

Mark has been approved as NDIS provider, and is now waiting on his full accreditation, which is due later in the year.
